Our Inspiration
Elsy Swanberg
Our inspiration lives in the memory of Elsy - a remarkable woman whose strength, kindness, and gentle spirit touched everyone around her. A devoted nurse who dedicated over 30 years to caring for others, serving her hometown in Sweden and later as a Registered Nurse in southern San Francisco. When she passed away last April, she left behind cherished memories and her beloved husband, Jan, whose devotion reflected the true meaning of companionship and love.
Through Elsy's journey and the bond she shared with Jan, we saw how important is for seniors to be treated with patience, dignity and genuine compassion. We witnessed how a warm environment and respectful care bring comfort not only for residents, but to those who love and support them.

Elsy was a woman full of warmth, curiosity, and gentle strenght. She adored dogs and cats, finding joy in their companionship and comfort in their presence. She loved getting lost in a good book and found happiness in cooking, filling her home with delicious aromas and the simple pleasure of creating food with love.

Every gesture she made - from a kind word to a thoughtful act - reflected her caring nature. Deeply devoted to her husband, Jan, Elsy lived a life rich in love, laughter, and the small joys that made every day meaningful. ​

​​​​In her honor, we are building our non-medical support services with one clear purpose: to provide dependable, heartfelt assistance that helps seniors maintain their independence while feeling valued and supported every day. ​We honor Elsy by carrying her warmth, kindness, and love into everything we do.
Elsy's legacy is the reason we do this work - and it continues to guide our mission to serve with integrity, kindness, and a deep respect for every life story we are privileged to be part of.
